michelle farleyMichelle Farley

Owner,
Competitive and Class Program Director

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Art Education and a Minor in Art History from Southeastern Massachusetts University (U-Mass Dartmouth). As a youth, she was introduced to the sport of gymnastics at the Brockton Y.W.C.A. Later, she became a three-year Varsity Cheerleader for Brockton High School. While attending SMU, Michelle was a member of the college gymnastics club coached by Gene Cote. Michelle is a Massachusetts certified Art Education teacher for grades K-12 and was a Junior High School Art Instructor in the Brockton School system for ten years. While teaching art, Michelle also taught gymnastics for the Brockton Community School evening and summer Get Ready programs. In 1974, she became the Brockton High School Women’s Gymnastics Team coach for 10 years. During that time she coached numerous Suburban League Championship Teams, Suburban League All Around Champions and individual event champions.

In 1979, Michelle opened Spectrum, a U.S.A.G. Member Club, and has been coaching gymnastics for the past 36 years to students of all ages and ability levels. During this time, Michelle has coached several U.S.A.G. State and Regional Individual Champions, including the 1990 Level 7 State Championship Team. She currently assists coaches and oversees our class recreational program, pre-team and U.S.A.G. Levels 3 – 10 teams. Michelle annually attends the U.S.A.G Regional Congress and is currently a U.S.A.G. Professional Member, U.S.A. Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified and Meet Director Certified. In 2016 Michelle returned to coach the Brockton High School Women’s Gymnastics Team for which she was named Cranberry League Coach of the Year.

Michelle’s interests include: sports psychology, nutrition/alternative medicine, fine arts and managing the NAF Charitable Fund Inc. by providing scholarships and advocacy for students with language based learning disabilities

Team Coach, Team Program Coordinator

Stephen is a Bridgewater State College graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Education. He was a member of the BSC National Competitive Cheering squad and the East Elite All Star Open Team. He was a two-year member of the Carver High Varsity Gymnastics team, where he was the 2002 Pilgrim Conference All-Around Champion and finished 10th  All Around at the MIAA High School State Individual Championships. In 2002, Stephen was selected as an All Scholastic Gymnastics Team member for the Patriot Ledger. Stephen was also a member of Spectrum’s Men’s competitive team for seven years. He has successfully competed in many Local, State, Regional and National competitions. His accomplishments include: U.S.A.G. 2000 Class III State Vault Champion, 2000 Regional Vault Champion, 1999 Class IV State Floor Exercise, Long Vault, Parallel Bars and All Around Champion and 1999 Class IV Regional Vault Champion. Currently, Stephen is the head coach for Bridgewater Raynham/West Bridgewater Varsity Gymnastics Team. In 2010, his team was undefeated and became the Cranberry League North Champions. In 2017 his team won the MIAA Division 1 Gymnastics State Championship. Twice, Stephen was named Cranberry League Coach of the Year and in 2017 he was named Boston Globe’s All-Scholastic Girls Gymnastics Coach of the Year. Stephen is the president of the Massachusetts Association of High School Gymnastics Coaches and the M.I.A.A. gymnastics coaches representative.

This is Stephen’s 15th year coaching Spectrum’s Shining & Shooting Star pre-team program and Level 3-10 U.S.A.G. teams where he is instrumental in producing numerous state and regional champions. In addition, Stephen attends the Regional Congress annually. He is a U.S.A.G. professional member, U.S.A. Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified, Meet Director Certified, NFHS Concussion in Sports Training Certified and CPR/First Aid Certified.

Stephen’s interests include: working out, general health and fitness.

Amy KoczeraAmy Koczera

Team Coach, Recreational Class Program Coordinator

Amy attended Bridgewater State College majoring in Early Childhood Education. She is a former member of the Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School Varsity Gymnastics Team. Amy is a former member of the 1998 and 1999 Pilgrim Conference, South Sectional and Massachusetts State Championship Teams. In 1996, the Patriot Ledger named Amy “All Scholastic Gymnast” for Vault and Uneven Bars. She was also inducted into the Bridgewater Raynham High School Hall of Fame. Additionally, Amy was a U.S.A.G. level 10 competitive team member for Spectrum, where she accumulated ten years of training experience. Throughout her ten years as a team member, she received numerous competitive awards at local, sectional and state U.S.A.G. competitions. Amy was also invited to compete at several A.A.U. Junior Olympic Nationals. She is the former Varsity Gymnastics Coach for Oliver Ames High School.

This is her 22nd year teaching at Spectrum and her 16th year coaching our Shining & Shooting Star pre-team program and Level 3-10 U.S.A.G. teams where she has been instrumental in producing numerous Spectrum state and regional champions. Amy attends the Regional Congress annually. She is a U.S.A.G. professional member, U.S.A. Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified and CPR/First Aid certified.

Amy’s interests include: Spending time with her beautiful daughter Ashlyn, weight training, word searches and music.

Suzanne MarinoSuzanne Marino

Assistant Team Coach

Suzanne has a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from the University of Rhode Island and a Master degree in Secondary Education, specializing in kinesiology, from Cambridge College. She is a physical education teacher for the Bridgewater-Raynham School district. As a teenager, Suzanne was selected to train as a gymnast under Dr. Joseph Massimo, Gymnastics Junction’s (currently Masstars). “Doc” was the private club coach and chief psychologist for the U.S.A. gymnastic team. Under Dr. Massimo, Suzanne competed at Regional and National levels.  Suzanne was a two time Massachusetts U.S.G.F State Champion in the All Around and also on Balance Beam.  She was twice named a Boston Globe All Star and was inducted into the Sharon High School Hall of Frame. Suzanne was named Captain for the University of Rhode Island Gymnastic Team, where she received numerous awards and currently holds a record for Floor Exercise at the Atlantic 10 Championships. Suzanne is a NAWGJ judge for the U.S.A.G. Levels 3-10, as well as a high school and college official. Currently, Suzanne is an assistant coach for our Shining & Shooting Star pre-team program and U.S.A.G. Level 3-5 teams. She is a U.S.A.G. Professional Member, USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management, NFHS Concussion in sports training certified and CPR/First Aid Certified.

Suzanne’s interests include: fitness, Pilate’s, running and spending quality time with her family.

Michael Moosey

Pre-Team Instructor/Team Coach

Michael attended the University of Rhode Island. Throughout his high school experiences, he participated in both gymnastics and football and was a member of the Westerly High School Football State Championship Team. While employed by Kingstown Gymnastics, he assisted in producing numerous State, Regional and National Champions. Michael is currently employed as a gymnastics coach for the Newport County YMCA in
Rhode Island. Michael has the honor of being selected as the TOPS (Talent Opportunity Program) Coordinator for Rhode Island and Connecticut. He comes to us with over 30 years of experience coaching gymnasts from beginner to elite. Presently, Michael is a coach for our Shining & Shooting Star pre-team program and assistant coach for our Level 3-5 teams. This is his 7th year coaching at Spectrum. Michael is a U.S.A.G. Professional Member and is USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified. He attends yearly congresses, clinics and summits with the National coaches.

Robin CristadoroRobin Cristadoro

Xcel Team Coach/Pre-Team Coach/Class Manager

Robin is a 2009 graduate of Westfield State College and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine. She is also a graduate of Bay State College with a Physical Therapy Assistant license. While attending the Easton Public Schools, Robin was a member of Spectrum’s U.S.A.G. Xcel competitive team and accumulated over fourteen years of training. Her notable honors at State Competitions include; 2003 3rd Place Balance Beam and 2005 2nd Place Team. Robin coached the Oliver Ames Varsity Gymnastics Team for four years. From 2003 – 2013 she was an instructor for the Brockton Community Schools’ Summer Get Ready gymnastics program. Currently she is the Xcel team coach, Shining & Shooting Star pre-team coach. Additionally, Robin is a part time Class Manager for Spectrum and is responsible for assisting teachers in spotting and correcting skills, as well as, supervising the transition of classes and their rotations. This is her 14th year teaching gymnastics at Spectrum. Robin is a U.S.A.G. Professional Member, USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified and First Aid/CPR Certified.

Robin’s interests include: Boston Celtics, her cat Rondo and rescue dogs Penny & Henry, reading, and sports injury management

Kerri McIntyre

Kerri McIntyre

Class Instructor/Xcel & Pre-Team Coach

Kerri is a 2010 Graduate of the Empire Beauty School in Boston, MA and a 2007 graduate of Hanover High School. She is currently employed by The Cuttery in Brockton MA. Kerri was a Spectrum Gymnastics U.S.A.G. Competitive Team member for eleven years and has accumulated 14 years of gymnastics training. She is a former U.S.A.G. Level 9 Spectrum Team member. As a competitor, Kerri was the recipient of numerous U.S.A.G. local and state competition awards. Her notable honors at State Competition are: 2004 Level 8 U.S.A.G State Competitor includes: 2nd place Vault and 10th place All Around. In 2004, Kerri also qualified to Regionals where she captured the U.S.A.G. Level 8 Regional Vault Championship.

Currently she is an Xcel team coach, recreational class instructor and our Shining & Shooting Star pre-team program coach. Additionally, she is an assistant coach for our U.S.A.G. Level 3-5 Teams. Kerri is a U.S.A.G. Professional Member and USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified. This is Kerri’s 7th year teaching at Spectrum

Kerri’s interests include: styling hair, fitness training, swimming, skiing & shopping.

Sydney Vitello

Assistant Team Coach

Sydney is a 2015 High School graduate. Sydney was a Spectrum Gymnastics U.S.A.G. Competitive Team member for ten years and has accumulated twelve years of gymnastics training. She is a former U.S.A.G. Level 9 Spectrum gymnast. As a competitor, Sydney was the recipient of numerous U.S.A.G. local and state competition awards. Her most notable awards from U.S.A.G. State Competitions include; 2009 Level 7, 6th on Uneven Bars, 7th on Balance Beam, and 10th All-Around. Sydney currently teaches recreational classes of all ages and ability levels and assists with our Shining and Shooting Stars Program. Sydney is a U.S.A.G. Professional Member and USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified. This is Sydney’s 4th year teaching at Spectrum.

Sydney’s interests include: her rescue dog Noah, spending time with family & friends and being outdoors

Class Instructor

Chelsea is currently attending Hollywood East Casting where she is pursuing a career in acting. She is also in the process of becoming a Big Sister volunteer seeks desire to help others succeed. Chelsea was a 2013 graduate of Brockton High School where she competed on the Women’s Varsity Gymnastics Team. Chelsea was a Spectrum USAG team member for 5 years. She was the recipient of numerous USAG local and state competition awards. Her notable honors include:  Level 5 USAG State All-Around Champion in 2008 and the USAG Level 6 State All-Around Champion in 2009. Chelsea is a USA Gymnastics University Certified Instructor and USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified. This is Chelsea’s 4th year teaching at Spectrum.

Talia Hampton

Class Instructor

Talia is a 2016 graduate of Bridgewater State College and holds a Bachelors degree in Geography. She graduated from North Quincy High School in 2011. Talia was a USAG competitive gymnast at Ellis Gymnastics for 8 years.  She also danced for the Needham Dance Theatre for 15 years. Talia is the daughter of Ms. Andi Neil, a high level USAG gymnastics judge and a Spectrum team choreographer. Talia is a USA Gymnastics University Certified Instructor and USA Gymnastics U101 Safety & Risk Management Certified. This is Talia’s fourth year teaching recreational classes at Spectrum.

Corinne Taylor

Class Instructor

Corinne studied nutrition and dietetics at the University of Maryland at College Park, and currently works as a clinical dietitian in Boston. As a former level 9 USAG gymnast, Corinne attained numerous local and state titles, and competed for Durfee High School’s gymnastics team (1997-2001), winning its conference title for the first time in school’s history during her junior year, where she was named the team’s MVP. Her personal gymnastics career spans fifteen years, but Corinne has always stayed current in the sport. She has coached for the last 4 years, judged USAG (level 5 and 6), and MIAA High School Gymnastics.

Corinne’s interests include: gymnastics, nutrition, running marathons, CrossFit, & hiking.

Office Staff

Jaqueline Morrow, Accounts Receivable

Jackie is a graduate of Brockton High School. She has been the Office Manager at Spectrum since her daughter Michelle first opened Spectrum in 1979. Jackie supervises all bookkeeping. Jackie has played a fundamental role in the continuation of Spectrum’s 38-year success. Her positive energy and dedication to Spectrum employees, gymnasts and all Spectrum functions is immeasurable.
Jackie’s interests include: tennis, walking, reading, swimming and her grandchildren

Rhonda McIntyre, Former Parents Club President/Office Staff Member/Home Competition Coordinator

Rhonda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Illinois. She currently works at Mass General Hospital in the pediatric oncology department. Rhonda participates yearly in the Granite State Quest to raise funds to conquer childhood cancer. Her daughter, Kerri, was a former U.S.A.G. Level 9 Spectrum competitive team member. During this time Rhonda was the president of our team parents club, “Friends of Spectrum.” Currently, she is an office staff member and Spectrum’s home competition program planner. Spectrum has received numerous compliments from U.S.A.G. participating schools regarding the professionalism and efficiency of our home competitions.
Rhonda’s interest includes: bike riding, exercising and watching gymnastics

Joanne Nelson – Office Staff Member

Joanne is a graduate of Brockton High School. Her daughter Carolee was a varsity gymnast for Brockton High School then coached by Michelle. Furthermore, her daughter Jodi was a former dance coach and choreographer for Spectrum. For several years while her children performed and taught dance, she traveled across the country with the American Dance Awards Company (A.D.A) as a City Manager. Joanne played an organizational role in running competitions. She was involved with judging, costumes, awards, and general preparation for the dancers. Joanne has worked for twenty years in the Brockton School Department, as a Para-professional. Joanne has been part of our office staff team for the past 11 years.
Joanne’s interests include: reading, arts, quiet time and the beach

Cindy Banks – Office Staff Member

Cindy is a 1986 graduate from Brockton High School. She is currently a property manager for Christies Realty LP. Cindy is a former 4-year member and Captain of the Brockton High School Suburban League Championship gymnastics team coached by Michelle. She was also a 5-year USGF team member for Spectrum. This is Cindy’s 16th year working at Spectrum. She is a substitute teacher for our preschool classes. Cindy’s daughter, Lily, is a member of our Level 3 USAG competitive team.
Cindy’s interests include: outdoor activities and spending time with her family.

Jill Silva – Office Staff Member/Parents Club President

Jill holds a Business Management degree from Bridgewater State University. She is presently a computer consultant for medical centers. Jill is our current team Parent Club President and in charge of fundraising activities for team members. Jill’s daughter Alison is a member of our L9 U.S.A.G. competitive team. This is Jill’s 4th year as part of our office staff.
Jill’s interests include: arts and crafts, baseball, walking and spending time with her family
